I never said I was that kind of retriever.
Some dogs live to chase ducks.
Some dogs live to retrieve birds.
Me?
I'm more interested in retrieving the cooler.
While everybody else is worried about decoys, calling shots, and limits...
I'm making sure the beverages don't get lonely.
Some folks might say...
"That dog don't hunt."
They're absolutely right.
He grills.
He naps.
He rides in the truck with his head out the window.
And he's first in line when somebody says,
"Y'all ready for a cold one?"
Now that's a job worth doing.
Certified good boy responsibilities:
Cooler quality control.
Riding shotgun.
Supervising the grill.
Mandatory afternoon naps.
Accepting unlimited belly rubs.
May cause:
• Refusing to leave camp.
• Becoming everyone's favorite hunting buddy.
• Chasing absolutely zero ducks.
• Emptying the cooler faster than expected.
• Being called a "good boy" approximately 847 times.
Not every dog was born to hunt...
